- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients diagnosed with cancer.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the latest research and clinical guidelines.
- Coordinate with surgical teams radiation oncologists and other specialists to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding cancer diagnoses and treatment options.
- Manage the side effects and complications associated with cancer treatment.
- Participate in clinical trials and contribute to research initiatives in oncology.
- Keep uptodate with advancements in oncology through continuous education and professional development.
- Document patient care activities in electronic health records accurately and promptly.
- Supervise and mentor medical students residents and other healthcare professionals.
- Respond to patient inquiries and concerns regarding their treatment and disease progression.
- Attend and contribute to tumor board meetings to discuss complex cases.
- Promote and uphold ethical standards in patient care and research initiatives.
- Collaborate with pharmacy nursing and allied health staff to enhance patient care pathways.
- Engage in community education efforts to raise awareness about cancer prevention and treatment.
- Customize followup care plans and survivorship strategies for patients posttreatment.

Required Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of residency training in Internal Medicine.
- Fellowship training in Medical Oncology (DM/DNB).
- Board certification in Medical Oncology.
- Active medical license in the respective state/country.
- A minimum of 35 years of clinical experience in oncology.
- Proven track record of conducting clinical research projects.
- Strong understanding of chemotherapeutic agents and their applications.
- Ability to interpret laboratory results and imaging studies accurately.
- Excellent counseling and communication skills for patient interaction.
