Job Description
Job pays $2000 per week
The duration of the job is 13 weeks with a start date of 1/6/2025
The unit is Speech Therapy (759)
The unit has 289 beds and 1 FTE NICU & 5 PRN SLP staff
Staff type is SLPs
Day shift is from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm including 12 weekend days every 13 weeks
Estimated patient ratios are 1015 adults/therapist caseload and 1014 for NICU
Equipment used includes FEES and TIMS
Documentation systems used are Meditech and ReDOC
There are no oncall requirements
Must have BLS CPR and FEES certification
Typical procedures performed on the unit include Swallow and Speech Language Initial Evaluations Bedside Swallow Evals and MBSs
Additional preferences include adaptability flexibility good communication skills quick learning abilities willingness to work weekends and techsavviness
The dress code requires gray scrubs
The department has won the Pumpkin Contest for 4 years and has a highly engaged staff with 8894% Employee Engagement participation
The department also engages in group exercises.
