Job Description
Lumenci is a legal tech startup founded by a group of IIT alumni in the US. Lumenci s mission is to transform the legal and intellectual property industry in US & Europe with groundbreaking products and services. We are currently looking to build an exceptionally strong technical team in Gurgaon India to help us deliver highquality products and services to our clients.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide technology consulting services to law firms and corporates in the domain of telecommunications.
- Strong knowledge of materials science including nanomaterials polymers composites metals ceramics and related technologies.
Ability to interpret patent claims and assess their applicability to specific materialsbased technologies.
- Work closely with semiconductor batteries supercapacitor and materials reverse engineering labs to reverse engineering various aspects not limited to fabrication (PVD CVD Coating etc.) testing (SEM/TEM XRD EDAX etc.) and simulation (Material studio Gaussian Comsol etc.) of polymer composites hybrid materials and nanomaterials etc.
- Understand underlying technologies to analyze patent portfolios and help solve clients core technical queries.
- Be the goto person for all IP Strategy problems.
- Lead teams conducting research & analysis including but not limited to technology research technology due diligence market research prior art searches target scouting invalidity analysis infringement analysis and claim charting.
- Ensure and set internal training framework.
- Explain complex technology matters to nontechnical audiences.
- Handle calls with USbased clients who include Industry Experts Corporate Counsel CEOs Startup founders IP litigators etc.
- Showcase technology and IP thought leadership via blogs and research reports.
- Collaborate across the organization inperson and with virtual global teams.
- Establish and cultivate relationships internally and externally.
Expected Competencies and Skills
- Lead teams in the capacity as project manager team lead product manager etc.
- Deep knowledge of materials science and nanotechnology Concepts and handson experience in fabrication and its testing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills especially in technical writing.
- Proficiency in technical research.
- Ability to think critically learn fast and work with minimal supervision under tight deadlines.
- Entrepreneurial and gogetter attitude.
Education and Experience
- BTech/ M.Tech/Ph.D. in Materials Engineering Materials Science Polymer Science Nanotechnology Chemical Engineering Electronics Communications and related fields from premier colleges such as IITs BITS and NITs.
- 6 years of experience in relevant IP industry or Tech industry e.g. Semiconductor Nanotechnology Materials and Polymer Sciences
