Position: MicroStrategy Developer
Work Location: Hyderabad
Mode of work Hybrid

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced MicroStrategy Developer with over 6 years of experience in designing developing and deploying business intelligence (BI) solutions using MicroStrategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BI data warehousing and analytics with the ability to transform business requirements into intuitive and insightful visualizations and dashboards. This role requires excellent technical and analytical skills to support decisionmaking and reporting needs collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure data solutions are scalable performant and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- MicroStrategy Development: Design build and deploy MicroStrategy reports dashboards and data visualizations that provide actionable insights and support business intelligence initiatives.
- Data Modeling and Schema Development: Develop and maintain logical data models including schema objects attributes facts and hierarchies within the MicroStrategy environment.
- Optimization and Performance Tuning: Ensure optimal performance of MicroStrategy reports by implementing best practices in report design data modeling and query optimization.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into scalable effective BI solutions.
- Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources working with ETL processes and collaborating with data engineering teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Identify analyze and resolve technical issues related to MicroStrategy applications ensuring seamless functionality and minimal downtime.
- Documentation and Standards: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all MicroStrategy projects including technical specifications best practices and coding standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Data Analytics Information Systems or a related field.
- Experience: 6 years of experience as a MicroStrategy Developer with expertise in BI and data visualization solutions.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in MicroStrategy development including dashboards reports dossiers and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational databases (e.g. SQL Server Oracle Teradata).
- Experience in schema development data modeling and using MicroStrategy Architect for creating data objects.
- Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval transformation and analysis.
- Experience with performance tuning optimization and troubleshooting MicroStrategy applications.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of other BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Exposure to Agile methodology and familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
