Job description
PS & PPM Senior Consultant
Overall experience of 9 years and 57 years in SAP Projects Module (PS & PPM) with an experience of at least three four end to end SAP implementation including SAP S4HANA.
Skills and Capabilities
- Excellent knowledge and hands on experience in area of SAP Projects System (PS) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
- Strong understanding of Integration between Project Systems and Materials Management Sales & Distribution and Finance & Controlling modules in SAP S4HANA.
- Indepth knowledge of SAP Project System master data Project Definitions and WBS structures in S/4 HANA.
- Must possess strong functional skills and must have acumen also in finance.
- Complete handson in the configuration with no supervision and works as a solution architect in SAP PS & PPM.
- Has the ability to do the fitgap analysis and engage himself creating functional specifications for development and have adequate knowledge on the underlying tables.
- Must have strong knowledge in mast data set up and troubleshooting issues for support.
- Strong project management skills and experience with project planning and execution.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Key Responsibilities:
Configuration & Customization:
- Design and configure SAP PS modules to meet business requirements.
- Customize SAP PS functionalities to align with business processes.
- Develop and implement SAP PS workflows and enhancements.
Business Process Optimization:
- Analyse current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Propose and implement best practices to enhance project management capabilities.
- Ensure the alignment of SAP PS solutions with overall business strategy
Training & Development:
- Train endusers on SAP PS functionalities and best practices.
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops to enhance user competency.
- Support knowledge transfer to ensure effective utilization of SAP PS modules.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams including Finance HR and Supply Chain to ensure seamless integration.
- Collaborate with external vendors and consultants as needed.
- Provide input and support for SAP system upgrades and new releases
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science Information Systems Business Administration or related field.
- SAP certification in Project Systems (PS) is preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to travel as required for project needs.
