Video Marketer APPSeCONNECT
The Video Marketer at APPSeCONNECT will lead our video content strategy creating impactful and engaging videos tailored for platforms such as LinkedIn YouTube Instagram and other relevant channels. This role involves endtoend video production platformspecific optimization and datadriven performance analysis to drive engagement and conversions. A key focus will be conducting intense market and competition analysis staying ahead of industry trends and ensuring early adoption of innovative video formats and strategies. By collaborating with crossfunctional teams and leveraging insights the Video Marketer will play a crucial role in shaping our brand presence and driving business growth through high impact video marketing efforts.
Your time will be invested in
Content Creation: Conceptualizing scripting and producing compelling video content tailored for diverse platforms including social media YouTube websites and email campaigns.
Strategy Development: Designing and implementing video marketing strategies that align with brand objectives and resonate with target audiences.
Optimization: Applying SEO best practices and video optimization techniques to enhance visibility engagement and conversions across platforms.
Analytics: Monitoring performance metrics analysing data and iterating on strategies to maximize video ROI and overall impact.
Collaboration: Partnering with design content and social media teams to ensure seamless integration of video campaigns into broader marketing initiatives.
Intense Market Analysis: Conducting indepth market research to understand audience behaviours preferences and trends ensuring video strategies are informed and impactful.
Intense Competition Analysis: Continuously evaluating competitor strategies and content to identify opportunities for differentiation and to maintain a competitive edge.
Trend Analysis and Innovation: Staying ahead of industry trends identifying emerging platforms and experimenting with innovative formats to keep our video content fresh relevant and engaging.
Early Adaption: Quickly adopting and leveraging new tools technologies and content formats to maintain an impactful approach in video marketing.
Required Skills:
Proven Expertise: Demonstrated experience in video marketing video production or similar roles with a track record of successful video campaigns.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro and After Effects with the ability to create highquality professional content.
Versatility in Video Creation: Ability to execute a variety of video styles including liveaction animation motion graphics and 3D videos tailored to different platforms and audiences.
Creative Storytelling: Exceptional storytelling abilities translating concepts and ideas into visually compelling and engaging videos.
Platform Knowledge: Indepth understanding of social media platforms their unique video specifications audience behaviours and best practices for maximizing engagement.
SEO and Optimization: Foundational knowledge of SEO principles and their application in video marketing to enhance discoverability and reach.
Communication and Organization: Strong communication and project management skills to effectively collaborate with teams and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Portfolio: A comprehensive portfolio showcasing a range of successful and diverse video marketing projects including examples of animated and 3D content is essential.
Preferred Skills:
Animation and Motion Graphics Expertise: Handson experience in creating animation and motion graphics to deliver visually engaging and dynamic content.
Video Creation Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with tools such as Canva Animoto and other similar platforms to streamline video creation for various use cases.
Video Advertising: Proven experience in strategizing executing and optimizing paid video ad campaigns on platforms like YouTube Instagram LinkedIn and other digital channels.
AudienceCentric Approach: An understanding of how to tailor video content to specific audience segments for higher engagement and ROI.
Emerging Trends Awareness: A proactive approach to exploring and adopting new tools and techniques in video creation and advertising.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Film Production or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2 years of proven experience in video marketing production or a related role.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute video campaigns with measurable results.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro and After Effects.
- Knowledge of video optimization techniques for platforms like YouTube Instagram Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Familiarity with SEO for video content (e.g. tagging thumbnails metadata).
