Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a Registered Nurse MedicalSurgical. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.
Location: Rockford IL 61103
Assignment Start Date: 12/24/2024
13 weeks Nights 12hour shift 36 hours guaranteed weekly
The Estimated Weekly Total is based on working the listed hours per week and includes available stipend amounts. Please contact a recruiter for full details.We are seeking an experienced RN for our Medical Surgical Cardiac Telemetry and StepDown ICU units.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques policies and procedures standards of care and State laws/practice acts.
- Documents according to standards of care.
- Develops initiates and executes a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient as prescribed by Physician and/or hospital policy including patient and family instruction.
- Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities which may include shared governance.
- Utilizes clinical expertise & guidance to other units/departments in support of the patients longitudinal plan of care.
- Utilizes critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience and appropriately escalates to the appropriate chain of command.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- Must have at least 2 years of MedicalSurgical RN experience;
Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:
- IL RN licensure required
- Must have BLS ACLS & NIHSS
EMR System: EPIC experience preferred
Shift: Nights 7:00P 7:30A. Every other weekend & holiday and 12hour shifts (Nights 7P7A) required
Float Requirement: Float between two of our medicalsurgical units
Vaccinations: Must be fully vaccinated for COVID19 and the flu vaccine.
