Role: Systems Analyst

Job Summary:
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelors degree in an analytical/technical discipline and 3 years of experience in the ASW field within the past 6 years OR
- Completion of Navy or vocational electronics school(s) and 5 years of experience in the Undersea Warfare (USW) field within the past 8 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in mission reconstruction and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain unique software applications to support operational and administrative needs for CPRG/CPRGP.
- Support the development of MPR software requirements including PREDATR PMDV and future programs.
- Design write test and debug software applications tailored to MPR mission specifications.
- Develop and implement modifications or enhancements to existing software programs using a spiral development process.
- Provide technical support for the assessment of MPR unit readiness using performance measurement tools.
- Design and develop softwarebased decision aids to support OPLAN construction and resource planning.
- Document new and updated software programs including system user guides and flowcharts.
- Analyze operations and activities of software applications and recommend improvements or modifications.
- Troubleshoot software issues provide support to departments and offer technical guidance on system operations.
- Conduct annual reviews of standard operating procedures for software programs submitting recommendations for changes.
- Report monthly quarterly and annually on system actions including updates issues and corrective actions.
Skills and Competencies:
- Knowledge of MPRFspecific software applications including PREDATR and PMDV.
- Expertise in data entry operations naval message processing and database administration.
- Strong background in mission planning and exercise reconstruction techniques.
- Familiarity with stateoftheart acoustic and nonacoustic signal processing.
- Ability to develop and manipulate highlevel databases and software applications.
- Proficiency with software documentation and creation of system program/user guides.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Access) and technical analysis tools.
- Strong problemsolving and criticalthinking skills to develop technical solutions for software and operational challenges.
