Position: Area Sales Officer (ASO)
Location: Ahmedabad
Job Description:
- Team Collaboration: Joint working with districtwise Sales Executives (SE) based on district sales contribution percentages and working days.
- Booklist/Order Preparation: Follow up with the team visit schools negotiate discounts and add titles/series as required.
- Promotional Material Distribution: Assist SE in classroom visits for studentrelated promotional material distribution and ensure prompt execution.
- Collections: Visit schools with SE for collections and follow up with the team to achieve collection targets. Visit booksellers for specific cases.
- NPPN Activities: Onboard schools/SVS in NPPN and ensure timely collections.
- Sponsorships: Negotiate sponsorships with schools associations and other stakeholders ensuring proper documentation and approval.
- Event Participation: Represent the company at school events exhibitions principal/teacher association programs and Dantali press visits.
- Competitor Analysis: Focus on converting competitor schools to the brand sharing competitor activities and instructing SE to counteract competitor initiatives.
- Report Checking: Review SE daily visit reports MJP plans expense statements canvassing forms and schoolwise indents for approval.
- Reporting: Prepare daily activity reports MJPs expense statements and communicate orders collections and advertisements.
- Bookseller Visits: Handle orders for current upcoming and new books NPPN activities and collections.
- Specimen Copies: Manage personal specimen copy requirements for school authorities and firstlevel teacher approvals.
- Team Management: Handle SE interviews appointments confirmations promotions and approvals.
- Database Management: Maintain and manage a database of SE SVS NPPN booksellers and top 10 accounts.
- Team Discussions: Conduct discussions on canvassing orders collections NPPN and other specific points.
- Review and Analysis: Track and report on sales accounts NPPN focus schools and distributorrelated metrics.
- Meeting Participation: Attend team meetings MJPs and annual sales meetings.
- SelfWorking: Independently visit focus schools to handle orders collections and NPPN objectives.
- Daily Tracking: Monitor SE team progress daily including call productivity (minimum 8 9 calls/day).
- Daily ConCall: Review the previous days performance and discuss the current days plan with the team.
- Travel Planning: Review travel plans to ensure full geographic and school coverage.
- Competition Focus: Visit competition schools assigned by ASM pitch for the brand and work on conversions.
- Activity Execution: Discuss and execute activity plans received from HO with SE teams.
- PostActivity Review: Evaluate activity outcomes and gather team feedback reporting to ASM.
- MidMonth Reviews: Conduct midmonth reviews on sales progress compared to the previous year.
- Bookstore Visits: Visit assigned bookstores discuss business growth and ensure sales improvement.
- Software Installation: Assign SE targets track progress and resolve issues related to software installations.
- Competition Tracking: Monitor and report competitor activities.
- Recruitment & Training: Handle recruitment training and onboarding of SE team members.
- CRM Usage: Ensure the team uses CRM systems effectively fills required information and adheres to HO guidelines.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Willingness to travel extensively.
