We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Team Leader to join our team. In this role you will manage the daytoday responsibilities of the team ensuring work is prioritised and achieved to the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity in a fastpaced environment and you will play a crucial part in driving continuous improvement tasks and projects across the department.
As the Quality Assurance Team Leader your key responsibilities will be:
- Support the Team with planning of daytoday workload governing the worktolist and the departments ability to deliver the daily targets / Performance metrics.
- Lead the triage of nonconformances answering them within the permissible process or assigning them to Production Modules or Design.
- Responsible for ensuring nonconformance reports are answered within deadlines liaising with other areas to ensure answers are provided.
- Responsible for adding unplanned routing operations into work orders (e.g. rework s) and champion work orders protocols to be followed.
- Ensuring the quality of the data in the NCR meets required standards to triaging and root cause analysis purposes.
- Effective problemsolving ensuring 8D protocols are followed e.g. 5 Why diagrams.
- Attend Operations / Production OPM meetings reporting on Quality trends from nonconformance data.
- Onhand support for operators and technicians on how to follow problemsolving techniques supporting the reduction of NCR rates based in shopfloor areas (rather than product areas).
- Work to quality standards and identify and contribute ways to continuously improve department and personal performance.
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Team Leader with the following experience and skills:
- 12 years of management experience.
- Apprenticeship degree or equivalent in engineering or a qualityrelated subject.
- Proven experience in practical problemsolving (Root Cause Analysis 8D) in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Passionate about continuous improvement and ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detailoriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
