Your new role
As our new Environmental Consultant youll play a vital part in our strategic mission to ensure environmental sustainability and compliance for a broad spectrum of clients. By joining our Compliance Sustainability and Transactions department you become a valued member of a vibrant and growing team. Our commitment to handling environmental management spans various sectors with projects that challenge and excite such as enhancing legal compliance programs overseeing environmental management systems implementation and navigating the intricacies of permitting. Our flexible hybrid working model supports your pursuit of worklife balance empowering you to excel both professionally and personally.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Prepare and conduct environmental compliance audits and managing audit programs
Collaborating closely with global Ramboll teams and subject experts
Oversee environmental projects to deliver client solutions on time and budget
Identifying and communicating environmental risks and presenting opportunities to enhance sustainable practices
Fostering the technical and digital evolution of our compliance and permitting services
About you
Extensive experience in environmental consultancy or significant exposure to environmental regulations
Solid understanding of the UK environmental regulatory landscape and auditing procedures
Proficient report writing skills and project management experience
Having a background in health and safety i.e. holding a NEBOSH qualification is beneficial and being a member of a professional organisation such as IOSH or IEMA is beneficial
An enthusiastic learner with dependable communication skills ready to take on new challenges and contribute inventive solutions
