At Colliers we are seeking a talented Senior Surveyor to join our Retail Rating team. This is a unique opportunity for a driven individual to make a significant impact within our Rating department specializing in the dynamic world of retail properties.
About the Role:
As a Senior Surveyor in our Retail Rating team you will:
- Lead the charge in providing expert advice on business rates ensuring our clients receive topnotch service and innovative solutions.
- Work closely with our clients to assess challenge and manage their retail property portfolios optimizing their business rates liabilities.
- Collaborate with a team of industry experts and leverage Colliers global network to deliver exceptional results.
- Develop your career by taking on increasing responsibilities with clear pathways to advance to an Associate Director role.

- Experience: You have a strong background in retail rating and business rates with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
- Expertise: You are wellversed in rating law and practices particularly within the retail sector and can confidently navigate complex rating appeals.
- Ambition: You are at the Senior Surveyor level and are eager to take the next step in your career with aspirations of moving into an Associate Director position.

Qualifications :
- MRICS qualification (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent professional accreditation
- Proven experience in commercial property specifically within retail rating and valuation
- Indepth knowledge of the UK Rating system business rates and relevant legislation
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a clientfocused approach
- Excellent understanding of retail market trends and property dynamics
- Proficiency with property management software and valuation tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client and stakeholder interactions
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
