Job Description
- Lead a production line with multiple employees assistance. Start and stop the machine operate the machine according to the operating procedures operate a forklift and palletizerlift the raw materials and place on top of blender grate with manual assistance from another team member clean the blenders with pressure washer clean the machine and work area after each days work report any manufacturing incident to the supervisor/manager.
- Perform daily visual inspection of machinery and surrounding area monitor control panels and make adjustments as needed and complete any required administrative duties.
- Perform visual checks on product prior to making batch perform everyday calibration on scales make sure that all chemicals are correct prior to making batch clean 5S the machine and surrounding areas.
- Make sure the machine runs correctly restart the machine after a stoppage due to a spill or sensor issue etc. Ensure the basic maintenance issues may perform minor PM on machinery.
- Train and develop employees that are working as production operators.
- Apply the plant safety rules.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Respect Housekeeping rules and apply them at all times.
- Keep area clean and organized.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma/GED or in progress required.
- Minimum of 2 years as a lead experience.
- Minimum of 1year related production experience preferred.
- Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced physically demanding environment.
- Able to lift and/or move large product bags.
- Team player and able to work independently.
- Must maintain good attendance be at work on time as needed available for OT as needed.
- Must have attention to detail.
- Technical comprehension/abilities.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions in the English language.
- Math Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
