Broad Function and Purpose of Position:
The Master Scheduler responsibility is to create a highlevel plan that outlines the production requirements quantities and by specific periods. The Master Schedule oversees the S&OE process within their technology clusters to ensure the right products are available to meet customer demand by optimizing resources minimizing disruptions and managing inventory levels.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Analyze demand and supply at the item customer and master schedule levels determine out of balance conditions identify alternative and recommend actions for approval.
- Collaborate with sales marketing and manufacturing to understand and reduce internal and customer leadtimes.
- Conduct roughcut capacity planning prior to publishing master schedule to ensure alignment with SI&OP commitments.
- Oversee S&OE commitments within the sites to ensure efficient detailed scheduling and utilization of capacity.
- Identify negotiate and resolve conflicts with respect to material and capacity availability and orderpromising integrity across the manufacturing network.
- Create a master schedule that satisfies customer demand while leveling workload released to manufacturing and optimization of inventory levels and resource utilization.
- Maintain scheduling parameters such as leadtimes lot sizes and cycle times.
- Monitor the implementation of schedules and evaluate their success as well as assess and mitigate risks that may impact the schedule
- Proactively identify potential scheduling conflicts or bottlenecks and work with relevant departments to resolve them.
- Collaborate closely with Production Purchasing Engineering Product Management Quality and Sales teams to ensure that the schedule is realistic and aligns with overall business objectives.
- Evaluate and adjust schedules to account for inventories and capacity constraints.
- Communicates schedule changes to correspondent stake holders as changes occur.
- Review upcoming projects for complexity special build requirement line and capacity requirements manpower allocation etc.
- Identify areas for process improvement within the scheduling function and implement changes to meet stated lead times.
Qualifications :
Qualifications/Experience:
- BA/BS in Supply Chain Management Business Management or a related field is preferred.
- 5 Years in Supply Chain leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP Preferred) advanced Excel skills and experience with scheduling software (MRP etc)
- Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes required: Inventory management supply management capacity planning and materials management.
