Job Description
Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
Location: Plano TX (OnSite)
Duties & Responsibilities
The Network Administrator is responsible for all phases of network infrastructure including configuration implementation and troubleshooting. Support of users Help Desk and System team members while serving as the escalation point for infrastructure issues. Perform enterprise network security operations and support wired and wireless connectivity.
Implement network design and security requirements based on business strategies and requirements. Meets with the stakeholders to gather data about the business needs of a project.
Work with the Sr. Network Engineer developing requirements for LAN WAN VPN Wireless routers switches firewalls and related security and network devices.
Implement network technologies meeting best practices in security and network design. Configure install and troubleshoot new and existing infrastructure to support the enterprise. Escalate technical troubleshooting issues.
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Update job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards participating in educational opportunities reading professional publications maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations.
