Data Analyst
Location: Trenton NJ 08625(Hybrid 3 days onsite)
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Must have knowledge of programming languages like SQL Python and JavaScript and experience with SAP BusinessObjects is highly desired.
Interview: 2 rounds with client
Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our IT team.
- This position will be fulltime hybrid and is a contract position.
What Youll Do :
- Review the client organizations current and legacy data to evaluate data quality and opportunities for improvement
- Research new data sources and analytical tools such as those available in thirdparty platforms such as AWS
- Contribute to new application and report development as well as implementing improvements in product delivery and presentation through the use of database applications and analytical tools
- Engage our internal customers in their data collection efforts and seek their feedback on any modifications and improvements they intend to implement
What Youll Need Required:
- Proficiency in data analysis
- Data modeling data mining and database design & optimization
- SQL programming
- Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel SPSS.SAS
- Strong mathematical skills to help collect measure organize and analyze data
- Knowledge of programming languages like SQL Python and JavaScript
- Technical proficiency regarding database design development data models
- techniques for data mining and segmentation
- Experience in handling reporting packages like Business Objects and/or
- programming (JavaScript XML or ETL frameworks) databases
- Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel SPSS SAS to be used for data set analyzing
Desired:
- Experience with SAP BusinessObjects
- JavaScript XML and/or other ETL frameworks
Physical Demands:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal state and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor.
