Job Description
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that cover the curriculum and adhere to educational standards.
- Deliver lectures on chemistry topics such as chemical compounds atomic structure chemical reactions and the periodic table.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and supervise students during lab work ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Assess student performance through tests quizzes and observational methods.
- Provide feedback to students and parents on student progress and performance.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of student academic progress.
Requirements
- Degree in chemistry or a related discipline.
- Relevant certification may be required.
- A completed apprenticeship would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of teaching styles recommended.
- Excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Strong multitasking skills.
