Job Description
TLG Global is a leading developer and manager of highquality assets in hospitality real estate and construction. We specialize in executing largescale complex projects with precision innovation and a commitment to excellence. We are looking for a Freight Forwarder to join our dynamic team and contribute to the successful delivery of our projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the endtoend logistics of shipments ensuring timely and costeffective delivery.
- Negotiating contracts and rates with carriers suppliers and clients to secure the best possible terms.
- Preparing and managing all necessary shipping documentation including bills of lading invoices and customs forms.
- Ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Providing clients with regular updates on shipment status and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients carriers and other stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the shipping process.
Requirements
- Fluency in English both written and spoken.
A minimum of 20 years of experience in freight forwarding or a related field. - Indepth knowledge of international shipping regulations customs procedures and documentation requirements.
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively with carriers and clients.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in logistics and freight management software.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work well under pressure.
