As we expand we re looking for a talented and dedicated Technical Customer Support Agent to join our team.
Role Overview: We re looking for a proactive and skilled Technical Customer Support Agent to provide exceptional support to our clients using Shopify themes. The ideal candidate has excellent written English skills a knack for technical writing and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email chat and support tickets in clear professional English.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify themes.
Communicate identified bugs and their status clearly to clients.
Draft and maintain comprehensive technical documentation FAQs and user guides for our themes.
Collaborate with the development and design teams to provide accurate solutions and relay customer feedback.
Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to enhance our themes and support processes.
Stay alert for major issues that may impact multiple clients and escalate as necessary.
Optimize support efficiency by streamlining workflows and identifying opportunities for automation.
Maintain a deep understanding of Shopify themes and functionality to provide toptier support.
Excellent English Skills: Exceptional written communication skills including grammar spelling and technical clarity.
Technical Writing Proficiency: Ability to create and update userfriendly technical documentation.
ProblemSolving Ability: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Shopify Knowledge: Familiarity with Shopify themes Liquid (Shopify s templating language) and basic frontend development (HTML CSS JavaScript).
Multitasking Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fastpaced environment.
CustomerCentric Mindset: Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in technical customer support preferably in ecommerce or SaaS industries.
