Compensation: $70000$80000 up to 10% performancebased bonus

Your Role:
As the Second Shift Supervisor you ll play a pivotal role in launching and managing a new shift to meet increased production demands. Youll lead by example ensuring safety quality and productivity standards are met while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Your ability to train mentor and inspire a team will drive results and enhance overall operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Leadership: Ensure all team members are trained in safety protocols conduct daily safety checks and drive compliance with safety standards.
- Team Building & Development: Recruit and train a cohesive team crosstrain employees and sustain a highperforming workforce aligned with company goals.
- Lean Manufacturing: Implement lean principles to optimize efficiency reduce waste and improve processes while empowering team members to contribute ideas.
- Operational Excellence: Collaborate with other shifts and departments like Engineering Maintenance Quality and Shipping to resolve production issues and enhance processes.
- Performance Tracking: Collect and report data on safety quality and delivery metrics working closely with the Operations Manager to achieve plant goals.
- Leadership & Communication: Clearly communicate expectations and provide feedback to ensure alignment with safety quality productivity and behavioral standards.
- Administrative Duties: Oversee scheduling staffing morale and adherence to company policies while ensuring tools and resources are available for production.
Ideal Candidates Have:
- Must have served in U.S. Army U.S. Navy U.S. Marine Corps U.S. Air Force U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Space Force U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard.
- Proven leadership experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Experience with safety training and compliance
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
- A passion for building teams and driving a positive missiondriven culture
