Job Description

AECOM is seeking an experienced (Senior to Director) Landscape Architect for immediate employment in our Canberra office.

This is an opportunity to join a multidisciplinary practice focused on highperforming landscapes that tackle climate change interconnectivity and mobility smart growth ecological systems and natural resources.

We are looking for a passionate Landscape Architect who is energised by a collaborative design process that engages colleagues clients and the communities we serve.

Job Summary/Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all phases of landscape architecture projects from initial concept through construction.

  • Develop innovative and sustainable design solutions that meet client needs and align with project goals.
  • Collaborate with clients engineers architects and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Work with team members to ensure timely and costeffective project delivery.
  • Manage mentor and guide junior landscape architects and designers fostering professional growth within the team.
  • Stay current with industry trends regulations and best practices to ensure highquality project outcomes.

Qualifications :

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired but if you dont tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply all applications will be considered. 

  • A degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Landscape Architecture with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing complex projects and ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced multidisciplinary environment.
  • Excellent design visualization and presentation skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software such as Revit Auto CAD Adobe Creative Suite SketchUp and 3D modelling tools.
  • Membership or eligibility for membership with AILA (Australian Institute of Landscape Architects).
