AECOM Canada is searching for an Electrical Specialist for a fulltime position based at Calgary.
The Electrical Specialist position demands a high level of expertise and professionalism in the field of electrical engineering. This role carries significant responsibilities that are crucial to the success of our projects and client satisfaction.
- Function as a fully competent professional in the electrical engineering field with minimal supervision.
- Utilize advanced knowledge to develop sophisticated design procedures software and tools to ensure highquality costeffective technical project outcomes.
- Formulate precise estimates of technical efforts required for projects demonstrating a thorough understanding of resource allocation.
- Orchestrate effective communication and collaboration within the full design team and with clients ensuring alignment of project goals and expectations.
- Conduct rigorous interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
- Spearhead the development and implementation of technical approaches overseeing the completion of complex work that demands regular application of ingenuity and creativity.
- Initiate and create comprehensive project designs and plans assuming full responsibility for preparing professional presentations and detailed design drawings.
- Produce meticulous designs calculations sketches diagrams schematic drawings and working drawings that adhere to industry standards and client specifications.
- Exercise considerable autonomy in determining technical objectives of assignments demonstrating leadership in project direction.
- Provide mentorship and oversight to less experienced designers fostering their professional development and ensuring the maintenance of high standards across the team.
- Engage directly with clients and oversee all aspects of projects to ensure that client needs are met with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree with 6 years of related design or construction experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience an or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
15 years of related experience including Electrical water and wastewater design.
