As the Sales & Operations Manager Away from Home (AFH) youll be responsible for delivering a profitable AFH revenue while ensuring customer satisfaction. Youll translate and locally implements the AwayFromHome sales and operations strategy. This role is based in Brussels reports to the General Manager is part of the local management team and has a team of 6 direct reports (3 segment managers a field operations teamlead a planning teamlead and a customer care manager).
Your key responsibilities include:
- Away From Home Leadership: Own and drive the sales and operational performance of the department managing business results KPIs budgeting and resource allocation in line with central guidelines.
- Account Planning and Strategy Development: Lead the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) including volume & NOS revenue targets segment strategies and operational plans. Support International Key Account Management in planning for named international accounts.
- Account and Negotiation Management: Own negotiation and contracting for local AFH accounts. Prioritize initiatives account plans and customer selection strategies. You execute general pricing promotional pricing and trade margins within guidelines and pricing bandwidths and group pricing governance.
- Customer and Market Segmentation: You apply the centrally defined Sales / Customer Strategy and Segmentation to local AFH markets/segments. Defines the key accounts / segments of strategic importance to build the brands together with Sales CPG & marketing CPG and supports the implementation through the sales & operations teams.
- Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement: Optimize local operations by managing processes technology and thirdparty partnerships to reduce costs while improving customer experience. Lead ongoing optimization initiatives across teams including Field Services and DevOps activities. Initiation and execution of tactical and strategic initiatives that help improve the quality and daily performance of the field service. Ensure uninterrupted operational results while simultaneously transforming the organization and further professionalizing.
- Data Management and Reporting: Oversee data infrastructure ensuring accurate reporting and quality performance management for customers.
- Team Leadership: Manage a complex peoplerich operations & sales organization driving performance & engagement through direct reports.
- Customer Satisfaction: Drive customer satisfaction across all touchpoints (Sales Operations Customer Care) ensuring highquality service and operational excellence.

- You have >15 years commercial and leadership experience with strong background in a businesstobusiness environment.
- Experience in a similar environment (FMCG international group complex corporate structure)
- Senior sales experience (B2C or B2B account management): a clear understanding of customer needs perspectives and sensitivities
- Ability to manage a changing workload in a dynamic deadline driven changing environment
- Demonstrated drive confidence and risk taking.
- Proven ability to anticipate needs and initiate action
- Conceptual ability to simplify processes and organizations and to drive ongoing performance improvements
- Experience in defining direction with strong stakeholder buyin from other functions
- Fluent in English and Flemish or French.
