Job Description

Our client located in Saskatchewan is looking for a contractor to do some inspection work along their inhouse metallurgical expert.  This contract is not fulltime but a schedule would be available with some predetermined work ahead of time. The contractor will provide insitu metallographic inspection services at the clients coal and gas power plants and provide interpretation of replication results and furnishing of reports from replications gathered from the insitu metallographic inspection services provided onsite. 

The contractor will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Onsite Insitu metallurgical replication
  • Onsite Hardness Testing
  • Evaluation of replication and hardness results
  • Reporting

 

 

 


Qualifications :

  • Bachelor University degree in Chemical Engineering Metallurgy or in a related science discipline or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous working experience related to this kind of work. 
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to compose clear and concise technical reports.
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fastpaced highly professional environment.
  • This position is a contract position and the candidate needs to be an independent contractor.
  • Hours and schedule will be as needed.
  • Work could be at various locations throughout Saskatchewan.
