We are now seeking an Technical Report Writer to join on team on a fixed term basis (18month contract). Reporting into the Asset Manager for Ireland The Technical Report Writer will play a crucial role in the asset management department providing operational support on various assets and DS3 services.
As a technical report writer; your main responsibilities will be:
- Review the technical performance of the Statkraft Operational Assets and DS3 services
- Prepare monthly client operational reports. This includes technical analysis of: Energy production Turbine availability Fault logs Power curves Grid curtailment constraint outages and Work logs for the wind farms and Performance scalars and settlement data for the DS3 services.
- Lead monthly client meetings to present the performance of the assets.
- Windfarm performance management and comparison against key KPIs.
- Organisation of performance tests as required for DS3 services.
- Utilising Greenbyte Energy Cloud SCADA and OEM SCADA systems.
- Interfacing with technicians contractors and DSOs/TSOs as required.
- Application of quality standards to Asset Operations (i.e. ISO9001 ISO14001 ISO45001).
- Communicate with OEMs to finalise contractual availability.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement.
Qualifications :
- University degree in engineering or technical disciplines (Mechanical Electrical Environmental or Renewables) with documented experience of working in reporting and presenting of technical data.
- Excellent communications and multitasking skills with the ability to confidently present and communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Analytical and technically minded with strong numeracy literacy and data management skills.
- Experience with SCADA and Power BI a considerable advantage
- Knowledge of DS3 grid services an advantage.
- Organized with excellent attention to detail along with the ability to meet reporting deadlines with the capacity to manage a demanding and fluctuating workload.
- Passion for renewables and ideally relevant working experience in the renewable energy industry.
- Self starter with ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team to a high standard.
- Creative eager to learn and highly flexible for a growing operations team in a fantastic company.
- Excellent application of Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills in English.
