Job Description

As a Trainee in our Project Development Wind Solar & Battery Storage team you will:
- Support and lead Wind Solar and BESS projects in development phase in Germany.
- Communicate with relevant local stakeholders (politicians permitting authorities energy suppliers landowners and municipalities) and represent the project externally as well as internally.
- Identify and manage project risks. Have responsibility for profitability of projects based on cost and revenue planning.
- Learn and get handson experience on how to manage Wind Solar and BESS projects from scratch up to permitting / building stage.
Qualifications :
We are looking for recent graduates who are motivated to join us in leading the green energy transition. Below are some qualifications we believe are beneficial as a trainee at Statkraft:
- University degree within relevant area of Economics Business Sciences Political Affairs Natural Sciences or Engineering or similar
- No more than one year of work experience post education (excluding internships/parttime jobs)
- Strong and proven ability to collaborate with others and work as a team player
- Curious and open minded towards different tasks and work environments
- Open to relocate during your trainee program for a period of 6 months
- Fluency in English and German is required
