Job Description

Working within the Supplements and Feeds team based in Fordham (Cambridgeshire) you will be performing analysis on a wide range of product matrices testing products for substances prohibited in sport and also verifying key nutritional parameters e.g. Protein. Our testing and Informed certification programmes support elite athletes manufacturers and general consumers promoting Science for a Safer World

Tasks to be undertaken include:

  • Performing extraction techniques Solid phase extraction liquid/liquid and automated liquid handling
  • Using highspec analytical instrumentation for chromatography and mass spectrometry GCMS/MS LCMS/MS and HRAM
  • Performing instrumental analysis to verify protein content.
  • Data analysis and review using TraceFinder and Masshunter applications.
  • Working within an ISO17025 accredited laboratory.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of BSc in Chemistry (or similar relevant scientific discipline) recent graduates are welcome to apply 
  • Previous experience of LCMS and GCMS techniques.
  • Experience of highresolution accurate mass (HRAM) is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of ISO 17025/GLP is desirable but not essential
  • Experience of working in a food testing / analytical laboratory would be desirable.
