Job Title: RN Inpatient Surgical Unit
Location: Gainesville FL
Salary: $30.69 per hour
SignOn Bonus: $20000
Shift Details:
- Shift: 12Hour Nights (Rotating Weekends)
- Days Per Week: 3
- Total Hours Per Week: 36
- Shift Start Time: 07:00 PM
- Shift End Time: 07:00 AM
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Inpatient Surgical Unit on the night shift. As an RN in our Inpatient Surgical Unit you will provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing surgical procedures ensuring their safety and comfort throughout their stay. You will be a key part of our team committed to delivering highquality care in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide highquality patientcentered care in the Inpatient Surgical Unit including pre and postoperative care.
- Conduct detailed patient assessments develop and implement individualized care plans and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care responding promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications monitor vital signs and assist in managing patient symptoms and complications.
- Educate patients and their families on postsurgical care discharge instructions and recovery processes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care RN experience (LTAC RN experience may also be considered).
- Active FL RN license or appropriate compact licensure (must obtain FL RN license within 90 days if holding a compact license).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
