Job Description
Job Title: RN Med Surg Oncology
Location: Tallahassee Florida
Salary: $27.72 $39.60 per hour depending on experience
SignOn Bonus: $20000
Schedule:
- Shift: 12Hour Days and Nights (Rotating Weekends)
- Days Per Week: 3
- Total Hours Per Week: 36
- Shift Start Time: 07:00 AM or 07:00 PM
- Shift End Time: 07:00 PM or 07:00 AM
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate MedSurg Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a MedSurg Oncology RN you will play a crucial role in providing care and treatment to ill injured and recovering adults within a patientcentered care model. This fulltime position requires strong clinical assessment skills the ability to manage treatment plans autonomously and a commitment to patient advocacy and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patients health or situation.
- Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
- Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation.
- Act as an advocate for patient safety ensuring effective care and efficient use of time supplies and equipment.
- Educate patients regarding their medications procedures and treatments providing support to patients and their families throughout their stay.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience; acute care experience is strongly preferred though LTAC experience will be considered.
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida or the ability to obtain licensure prior to start.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred; required within 6 months of hire.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
