Job Description
Job Title: RN MedSurg Oncology
Location: Tallahassee Florida
Available Shifts:
- Days (Rotating Weekends): 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Nights (Rotating Weekends): 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Work Schedule:
- Shift: 12hour nights
- Days Per Week: 3
- Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift Start Time: 07:00 PM
- Shift End Time: 07:00 AM
Compensation:
- Minimum Rate Per Hour: $27.72
- Maximum Rate Per Hour: $39.60
- SignOn Bonus: $20000
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled MedSurg Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role you will provide care and treatment to adults who are ill injured or recovering with a focus on oncology patients. You will be expected to make clinical assessments and manage treatment autonomously working in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patientcentered care. This position offers a $20000 signon bonus and provides opportunities to be part of a supportive team dedicated to delivering exceptional care.
Essential Functions:
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patients health or situation.
- Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
- Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis or issues.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the patients needs and situation.
- Act as an advocate for patient safety ensuring effective use of time supplies and equipment.
- Educate patients and their families regarding medications procedures and treatments offering support throughout their stay.
Qualifications::
- Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience. While acute care experience is strongly preferred LTAC (LongTerm Acute Care) experience will also be considered.:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or ability to obtain licensure prior to start.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred required within 6 months of hire.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
