Position Title: RN Neuro ICU
Location: Dallas TX
Shift: 12 HR Nights
Shift Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36
Shift Start Time: 07:00 PM
Shift End Time: 07:00 AM
Minimum Rate Per Hour: $32
Maximum Rate Per Hour: $53
Job Summary:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Neuro ICU where you will provide care for highacuity patients including nontrauma neurosurgical cases strokes specialized spine surgeries neurovascular surgeries and seizures. Our 15bed unit is a Certified Comprehensive Stroke facility offering patient ratios of 1:2. Youll be part of a supportive environment with access to onsite nurse practitioners stroke coordinators and educators. Our leadership team is committed to handson support and fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional development.
Neuro ICU Overview:
- Patient Population: Nontrauma neurosurgical patients strokes specialized spine neurovascular surgeries and seizures.
- Patient Ratios: 1:2
- Department Specifics: 15 Beds Certified Comprehensive Stroke facility Unitbased practice council Onsite nurse practitioners stroke coordinators and educator. Leadership team with all handson deck.
What You Will Do:
- Provide highquality care in a fastpaced environment for Neuro ICU patients.
- Collaborate with an interprofessional team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the units continuous improvement initiatives.
Registered Nurse Requirements:
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
- License/Certification:
- RN Registered Nurse with Neuro ICU Experience.
- BLS Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire).
