Job Description
Position Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Fairbanks AK
Employment Type: Fulltime
Shift Information:
- Hospital: 12hour varied shifts with holiday and oncall requirements as needed
- Imaging Center: 10hour day shifts no holidays no oncall
Start Date: ASAP (onboarding process takes approximately 58 weeks)
Compensation:
- Base Hourly Pay: Minimum of $34.96 per hour based on years of experience
- SignOn Bonus: Twoyear completion bonus incentive

Job Responsibilities:
As an Ultrasound Tech your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing procedures by following and verifying referring providers orders. Utilizing independent judgment and applying learned methodologies according to established policies and procedures.
- Educating patients and their families regarding the procedures and/or treatments to be performed. Demonstrating professional behavior and conduct in all interactions fostering teamwork efficient use of resources and quality patient outcomes.
- Producing highquality images and preparing/presenting them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation. Ensuring accurate and thorough documentation is prepared and maintained.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Licensure: Must hold or be able to obtain an Alaska state license prior to starting.
- Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)
