Job Description
Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Great Bend Kansas
Salary: $27 $35/hour
Shift: FullTime 8 or 10hour Day Shifts with varied start times
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our medical team. This fulltime role involves rotating weeknight and weekend oncall duties to ensure coverage for patients 7 AM 10 PM on weekends. Holiday shifts are rotated among the team. The ideal candidate will be a graduate from an accredited ultrasound program and hold or be eligible for certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or through ARDMS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures following established guidelines and protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians to provide accurate and timely imaging results.
- Participate in a rotating oncall schedule for evenings weekends and holidays.
- Provide patient education ensuring a smooth and professional experience.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation for each procedure.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or ARDMS Board Eligible.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
