Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Reedsport OR
Shift Type: FullTime
Shift Times: Day and Varied Shifts Available
Salary:
- Starting Salary for New Grads: $30.90/hour
- Salary Range for Experienced Candidates: Up to $46.43/hour depending on experience and additional modalities.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist CT/Xray to join our Radiology Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both CT and XRay imaging and will provide highquality diagnostic imaging services. This fulltime position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package and offers competitive pay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic CT and XRay procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and accuracy.
- Prepare patients for procedures explaining the process and answering any questions to ensure patient comfort.
- Collaborate with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide highquality patient care.
- Maintain equipment and ensure that it is operating efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Document procedures and maintain patient records accurately.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of CT and XRay imaging techniques and protocols.
- Ability to operate radiologic and CT equipment proficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Graduation (diploma or certificate) from an accredited JRCERT School of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Licensed in the state of Oregon or eligible to obtain an Oregon license.
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience in a hospital Radiology Department.
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience operating a CT scanner in a hospital or clinic setting.
