Job Title: Sonographer II

Hours: 8 hours/day 80 hours per twoweek pay period
Hourly Pay Rate: $42.00 $63.00/hour (based on experience)
Job Overview:
The Sonographer II is a healthcare professional responsible for providing clinically relevant information to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Under the supervision of the Radiology management team the Sonographer performs medical imaging in a variety of specialty areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform highquality ultrasound exams in specialty areas to assist with accurate diagnosis and patient treatment.
- Participate in standby/oncall rotations after regular department hours including weekends and holidays.
- Document and generate reports using applicable computer software.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to create a supportive and efficient environment for patient care.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency with computer skills and software for documentation and report generation.
- Advanced training and experience in sonography.
- Ability to foster collaboration with the healthcare team and maintain a professional atmosphere.
- Punctual consistent and able to maintain attendance at assigned job locations.

Education/Certifications/Licenses:
- Graduate of an approved Ultrasound training program.
- Valid Oregon permanent or temporary OBMI license required upon hire.
- American Heart Association BLS certification required.
- Minimum of two specialty certifications from one of the following:
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
Experience:
- At least one year of prior experience as a Sonographer preferred.
