Job Description
Position Title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Location: Great Bend KS
Shift: 1 Shift Per Week 68 Hours (8:00 AM 5:00 PM)
Salary: $25.00 $27.50 per hour
Benefits: None

Job Overview:
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will provide physical therapy services to home health patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. This parttime role is ideal for a PTA seeking to work one shift per week in a flexible and patientcentered environment. You will assist in implementing therapeutic programs monitor patient progress and adjust care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Implement physical therapy treatments as per the plan of care established by the physical therapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress reporting changes to the supervising physical therapist.
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises mobility and overall physical health maintenance.
- Assist in improving patient mobility pain management and independence in the home setting.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Licenses: Licensed to practice as a PTA in the state of Kansas.
- Certifications: BLS certification required within the first two weeks of employment.
- Experience: New graduates are welcome to apply!
