Job Description
Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Kissimmee FL
Shift Type: Variable
Shift Duration: 12 hours
Shift Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $31.04 to $44.34 depending on experience and qualifications
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team in Kissimmee FL. In this role you will perform computed tomography (CT) procedures to produce diagnostic images contributing to patient care and diagnosis. You will work in a fastpaced environment including both hospital and freestanding emergency department (FSED) settings where acute care experience may be required. You must be able to effectively position patients set technical exposure factors and operate CT equipment while adhering to established safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans and ensure highquality imaging for diagnostic purposes.
- Position patients and operate CT equipment according to protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Comply with radiation safety regulations and hospital policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of CT experience preferred (required for FSED roles).
- Associate Degree or graduate of an approved School of Radiology.
- State of Florida HRS General Radiography license required.
- Current BCLSC certification required.
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) required at the time of submission.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
