Job Title: Interventional Radiologic Technologist
Location: Plano TX
Shift: 10 HR Days (7:00 AM 5:00 PM) Monday Friday Rotating Day Off
Shifts per Week: 4 (40 Scheduled Hours)
Hourly Pay: $33 $48
SignOn Bonus: $10000
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Plano TX. You will be responsible for performing highquality interventional radiology (IR) procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The position requires strong technical skills communication abilities and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the team. You will also help maintain equipment adhere to safety protocols and participate in oncall rotations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform highquality IR procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and set up for procedures while adjusting immobilization devices and equipment controls as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families explaining procedures and assessing their ability to tolerate exams.
- Ensure adherence to safety requirements sterile techniques infection control and radiation policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure equipment is functioning optimally.
- Maintain accurate medical imaging records and follow department policies for timely interpretation.
- Serve as a preceptor to new team members and assist with new services and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- ARRTRadiography (ARRTR) certification is required.
- Must obtain certification in one of the following within two (2) years of hire: ARRTCI (CardiacInterventional) ARRTVI (Interventional Radiography) or ARRTCV (Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography).
- Previous experience in Interventional Radiology preferred.
