Job Description
Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Temple TX
Shift: 8 HR Days (MondayFriday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM)
Shifts Per Week: 5
Scheduled Hours: 40 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $33 $48 per hour
SignOn Bonus: $10000 (for external candidates)
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team on a fulltime basis. The role involves performing highquality MRI procedures in an academic hospital setting with a focus on patient safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols in a timely manner.
- Communicate with patients and their families regarding the procedures ensuring their understanding and comfort.
- Properly position patients prepare the imaging area and adjust equipment settings to capture optimal images.
- Adhere to all safety protocols including infection control and radiation safety.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of MRI equipment and the imaging area reporting any issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation ensuring compliance with department policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the medical team and assist with the care of patients during imaging procedures.
- Provide education and training to new staff and assist with the implementation of new services and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Less than 1 year of experience required.
- ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists)
- ARRTMR (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
- ARRTR (Radiography)
