Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Sanford FL
Shift: 12Hour Days (Friday Saturday Sunday: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM)
Shifts Per Week: 3
Hours Per Week: 36
Hourly Pay Range: $32.52 $40.65
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join our imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform highquality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position is scheduled for 12hour shifts on Friday Saturday and Sunday providing a consistent weekend work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging procedures according to department protocols and standards ensuring quality images for diagnostic interpretation.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process addressing concerns and positioning them correctly for optimal imaging results.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment ensuring it is functioning properly and reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow safety protocols including radiation safety infection control and proper shielding techniques for patients and staff.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure timely and accurate results.
- Maintain accurate patient records including imaging documentation and any pertinent patient information.
- Ensure a patientcentered approach addressing any questions or concerns with care and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- 13 years of CT Tech experience required. Acute care experience preferred but not required.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) required; (CT) preferred.
- Must be a Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or instructor certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology Program with a Technical Degree or Associate Degree.
