Location: St. Louis MO
Hourly Rate: $35.00 $40.00
Shift Type: Days
Shift Times: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (flexible start time between 7:00 AM 8:00 AM or 9:00 AM)
Hours/Day: 8 hours
Weekend Requirements: Based on case load; overtime may apply if needed
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide mobile XRay and EKG (if applicable) services to nursing homes healthcare facilities and other miscellaneous locations. In this role you will transport set up and operate portable radiography equipment to obtain highquality diagnostic images. This is a unique opportunity to work independently while interacting with patients and healthcare staff in a variety of clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process XRays using portable digital radiography (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment.
- Transport and unload portable Xray equipment from the company vehicle into the facility to conduct exams ordered by the physician.
- Capture clinically diagnostic and technically competent Xray images.
- Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
- Ensure accurate daily scanning and submission of examrelated paperwork and billing documents per protocol.
- Communicate professionally with peers management dispatch departments and clients to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain all jobrelated licenses certifications and health requirements.
Qualifications:
- Certification: ARRT certification required
- State License: Must have or be eligible for licensure in Illinois or Missouri (Compact license allowed).
- Illinois licensure assistance available.
- Limited License: Not accepted.
- Valid Drivers License: Required and must remain in good standing.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to push/pull equipment weighing 50100 lbs. with reduced force through ramps and pulleys.
- Physical exertion of 50 lbs. or more may occur 16 to 24 times a day.
