Job Description
Job Title: Multimodality Technologist
Location: Round Rock TX
Shift: 12Hour Days (7:00 AM 7:00 PM)
Shifts Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36 Shifts Per Week
Hourly Pay: $33 $48
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Multimodality Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform highquality imaging procedures in multiple modalities ensuring patient safety satisfaction and accurate results. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment adhering to safety standards and providing clear communication with patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform multimodality imaging procedures following established protocols.
- Explain procedures to patients and ensure they are comfortable and prepared.
- Adhere to safety protocols including radiation safety and infection control guidelines.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures using appropriate techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and quality standards for equipment and work area.
- Document all necessary patient information and imaging records.
- Provide first aid and utilize the emergency cart as needed.
- Assist with patient followup and maintain clear communication with the healthcare team.
- Serve as a preceptor for new staff members or for implementing new initiatives.
- Take call if required by the department.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited program in radiology or a related field.
- Less than 1 year of experience required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Licensed by the State of Texas as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) or certified in two imaging modalities.
- Certification in appropriate modalities such as ARRTCT ARRTMR ARRTR ARRTN ARRTS ARRTVI RDMS CNMT or equivalent.
