Job Description
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Fort Worth TX
Shift: FullTime 8Hour Night Shifts (Monday Friday 1:00 PM 9:30 PM)
Salary Range: $25 $36 per hour based on experience
SignOn Bonus: $10000
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Radiologic Technologist to join our team. In this fulltime evening role you will perform highquality imaging procedures ensure patient comfort and safety and work collaboratively with the healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiologic imaging procedures according to established protocols and standards
- Prepare patients for imaging exams ensuring their comfort and positioning them properly
- Communicate clearly with patients about the procedure and provide instructions as needed
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment ensuring it is clean and functioning properly
- Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients and staff including infection control and radiation safety measures
- Maintain accurate medical imaging records and documentation in compliance with department standards
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
- Monitor equipment performance and report issues as necessary
- Serve as a preceptor to new team members and provide training on new services or equipment
- Take call shifts as required
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- ARRTR certification in Radiography
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 30 days of hire)
- Licensed by the State of Texas as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
- Less than 1 year of experience in radiology (new graduates are welcome to apply)
