Job Description
Job Title: RN Manager Emergency Department
Location: Temple TX
Shift: 12Hour Days FullTime
Shift Times: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Shifts per Week: 3
Total Scheduled Hours: 36 per week
High Bill Rate: $53
Low Bill Rate: $32
Job Overview:
As the RN Manager in the Emergency Department (ED) you will play a key leadership role in supporting nursing practices and fostering a positive environment for both patients and staff. Your responsibilities will include planning policy development resource management and education ensuring that toptier evidencebased care is delivered consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and shape the future of nursing practices within the department.
- Ensure staff adheres to updated nursing standards and implement evidencebased practices.
- Cultivate a compassionate environment for patients and staff.
- Maintain high service standards and ethical care practices.
- Implement and manage departmental succession planning and staff development.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure highquality patient care.
- Promote open communication patient advocacy and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Encourage professional development within the nursing team while focusing on personal growth.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Nursing is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in emergency care is preferred.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
