Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Dallas TX
Shift: Thursday Friday Saturday (9:00 AM 9:30 PM)
Schedule: 3 Shifts Per Week (36 Hours)
Salary Range: $33 $48 per hour
SignOn Bonus: $10000 for external employees
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team in Dallas TX. In this fulltime role you will be responsible for performing highquality computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures. The position offers a flexible schedule of 12hour shifts on Thursday Friday and Saturday. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform highquality CT procedures according to exam protocols ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
- Communicate with patients using AIDET techniques to ensure they understand the procedure feel comfortable and receive the appropriate care.
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures including positioning patients adjusting immobilization devices and setting exposure factors.
- Follow all safety infectioncontrol drug and radiation protocols ensuring the highest level of patient and staff safety.
- Maintain equipment and workspace cleanliness reporting any issues to management or the appropriate department.
- Manage medical imaging records ensuring documentation is accurate and complete in the appropriate system.
- Collaborate with engineers and physicists to maintain the operational capabilities of equipment.
- Provide assistance in maintaining inventory and supplies for the department.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine.
- Must hold certification in Computed Tomography (CT) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRTCT).
- Must also be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (ARRTR) or in Nuclear Medicine (ARRTN) or by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
