Job Description
Job Title: Director of Radiology Services
Location: Kansas City KS
Salary: $143500 annually
Job Overview:
The Director of Radiology Services is responsible for the overall management strategic direction and operational efficiency of the radiology department within a healthcare facility. This role ensures the delivery of highquality imaging services while adhering to regulatory standards optimizing resource use and enhancing patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of multiple radiology modalities ensuring staffing processes and space are optimized for efficient and highquality care.
- Develop and implement work plans that identify the correct resources and processes required to meet department goals.
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Health Professions Senior Director of Radiology Services and other senior leaders to identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adequate resources for staffing capital and capacity to support the departments clinical and operational needs.
- Promote positive and professional relationships between radiology and other health system departments.
- Lead and mentor modality managers fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Masters degree required (Healthcare Administration MBA Business or a related field).
- 35 years of management experience in an imaging department.
- Staterequired license for Radiology/Imaging professionals.
- Strong leadership communication and problemsolving skills.
