Job Description
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Louisville Kentucky
Salary: $26.00 $28.00 per hour
Shift Type: Afternoons
Shift Notes: Friday Sunday 10am10pm
Shift Differential: $1.50/hour for hours worked after 3pm
Job Description:
This position involves providing mobile XRay and EKG services across various settings including skilled nursing facilities prisons and home health environments. The technician will use portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment to perform exams as ordered by physicians ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent images.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process XRays and EKGs submitting them for interpretation.
- Transport and manage portable XRay equipment within facilities.
- Scan and transmit examrelated paperwork and billing documents as per protocol.
- Maintain communication with dispatch and management.
- Maintain the vehicle and XRay equipment.
Qualifications:
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
- Ability to interact professionally with peers and supervisory staff.
- Capable of managing mobile diagnostic equipment.
