Job Description
Job Title: Lead Radiologic Technologist
Location: Philadelphia PA
Hourly Rate: $43.00
Position Summary:
The Lead Radiologic Technologist oversees the daily operations of technologists within their respective areas ensuring compliance with productivity standards and adherence to policies and procedures. This role collaborates closely with the Area Operations Manager to enhance operational efficiency and maintain high standards of radiologic services.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and process Xrays ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent results.
- Operate and manage portable Xray equipment at patients bedsides as ordered by physicians.
- Obtain clinically diagnostic EKGs and ensure their transmission for interpretation.
- Manage paperwork related to exams patient billing and patient demographics entry into the computer workstation.
- Maintain vehicles and Xray equipment ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
- Schedule technologists to meet service levels and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct quarterly image reviews to guarantee highquality exams and provide feedback for improvement.
- Crosstrain technical staff across applicable modalities and manage equipment maintenance.
- Provide oncall assistance and support to the team and the Area Operations Manager as needed.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in radiologic technology including management or supervisory roles.
- Proficiency in using radiologic and diagnostic imaging equipment and software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
