Job Description
Position Title: Certified Surgical Technologist
Schedule: Must be flexible with hours. This is a FullTime directhire position. No nights weekends major holidays or oncall.
Reports to: Director of Nurses (DON)
EMR: HST
# of Operating Rooms: 4
# of Surgeries Per Month: 250

Facility Schedule: Days MF 40hours/week
Education/Licensure/Certification Requirements
Required:
- GED or High School Diploma
- NBSTSACertified Surgical Tech or other equivalent certification
- BLS required
- At least one year of experience
Preferred:
- ORTHO Experience
- Two years of experience preferred
Main Function:
The Surgical Scrub Tech or the Certified Surgical Tech is a member of the surgical team who works with surgeons anesthesia personnel RNs and other surgical personnel in delivering patient care and assuming appropriate responsibilities before during and after surgical procedures.
