Job Description
Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist
SignOn Bonus: $6000
Location: Lawton OK
Shift Notes: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM (8 hours shifts)
Salary Range: $22.58 $25.40/hour (based on experience)
Position Summary:
The Cath Lab Technologist plays a critical role in a comprehensive Cath Lab team that includes Cardiologists Interventional Radiologists and a General Surgeon. This position is responsible for assisting with a variety of cardiac and peripheral procedures such as catheterizations PTCA stenting and pacemaker insertions as well as managing diagnostic equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with cardiac and peripheral procedures including Left Heart Cath PTCA stenting thrombectomy atherectomy and pacemaker insertion.
- Operate advanced Cath Lab equipment such as Philips Laser System IVUS OCT and various coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices.
- Rotate between scrubbing and circulating duties including operating xray equipment.
- Assist with patient preparation and postprocedure care transport patients and help manage inventory.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in operating sophisticated Cath Lab devices including Siemens Artis Zee Carms.
- Familiarity with McKesson CPACS McKesson Cardiology and McKesson Hemodynamic Systems.
- Experience in a Cath Lab environment is highly preferred.
- Must be able to work effectively within a dynamic team setting.
